1929 Fink Pickup (it thought it was a Ford, but I knew better.)

 I'm  building this as if I was 16 years old...only much slower.  At that time the most important thing was to get it running so I could drive it...then worry about the other stuff...like a hopped up motor and hydraulic brakes.

The "getting it running and driving it" part is Phase I.  Phase II will entail a motor swap (flathead V8, most likely,) dropped axle in front, spring leaf removal in the rear, F-100 steering box, hydraulic brakes and whatever else strikes my fancy.

 Phase III (If it ever comes around) will entail complete rust repair and paint and an Olds, Buick or Caddy motor. Other stuff is being considered, like stretching the frame and front fenders so that a Buick straight-8 would fit.  Ohhh...real live windows, and just maybe air conditioning.

Model A Ford.  Pretty much stock.  Front and rear springs and axles: stock.  Shock absorbers: tube-type, ready to install.  Brakes: stock mechanical.

 This will be updated in Phase II.  Phase I is getting closerand closer to completion.

15" steelies with moon discs.

 These will be replaced by 16" wire wheels and "gangsta whitewall" tires.  If not that, painted reversed rim, beauty rings and baby moons.

Stuff I could throw together. 

I'm not sure about future plans here, but it would be nice to replace the Aerostar seat with something that provides a bit more room.  Right now, the steering wheel is pretty much in my lap.

 Big Daddy Roth once said, if it's in primer (I'll add rusty metal) it's a project.  Once you paint it, it's done"  Considering how cheaply he sold his cars after they were done, I can imagine that he lost interest oce they were completed and went onto the fun part, building another project. 

Big Daddy was a sorta friend and a major influence on me.  I subscribe to his feelings about paint/primer, etc.  So it'll be a long time before Rufus sees paint.
