Introduction / Overview:
Hello fellow gearheads. My name is Wayne and I have been building hot rods for about 30 years. Mostly Chevelles, but "ALWAYS" Chevys. I was about 70% finished with a 66 Nova Drag Car (altered wheelbase, single seat, 496 with a glide) when my new Street Car came my way. Since I am mainly a street/show car kinda guy I put the Nova on the back burner (actually have not touched it since April 2011) and started working on my 67 Chevelle Pro Street Car. The picture posted is "what I want it to look like", not what it currently looks like. I am now in the primer/block sanding process.
Drivetrain:
Brand new (still in the crate) LS2 6.0 liter small block chevy motor with a 2004 6 speed tranny from a GTO.
Chassis:
Original front end (rebuilt) with a "Back Half" from and installed by S&W Racecars. After that it was powder coated and a 9 inch rearend with 4:11 gears.
Wheels:
Weld Pro Star wheels and Mickey Thompson tires.
Body:
Right now it is yellow epoxy primer with guide coat over about half of it. The other half is smooth yellow after guide coat was block sanded off. Will be painted PPG Black single stage. (Same color as the A.M.B.R. 2011)
Interioir:
Two seats so far. That's all it will have when finished too. Oh yeah, roll bar and tubs. Big Ones.

Hot Rodder
