Introduction / Overview:
This is a 1969 GMC truck. Its a half ton, two wheel drive, long bed. It has an Air Ride Technologies air bag system on it.

Drivetrain:
The motor is a 383stroker and the transmission is a Turbo 350.

Chassis:
Stock frame rails but it has a 5 lug disk brake conversion on the front and a posi rear ens out of a 88 Camaro. There is a c-notch in the rear as well and when the bags are deflated this thing is low!

Wheels:
They are 18" Forte wheels and Falken tires.

Body:
I did all the body and paint as that is my profession. I had to replace the rockers and cab corners because they were rusted. The passenger side bed side was crushed so I replaced that as well. I moved the gas tank out back and shaved the stock filler hole. The whole truck was primed and blocked six times before I sprayed it with 2008 Mitsubishi Eclipse Orange Pearl. I actually drove the truck just orange for about six months before I tore it all down again and added the HOK Silver metalflake flames.

Interioir:
Interior is nothing special...just cleaned up, painted and a lot of stock trim pieces replaced with LMC items.

I used to be into nothing but shortbeds but the longbed trucks just look really cool and now I am on my second longbed. This 69 really looks good. Great job.

Nice truck! Looks like you didn't have to alter the bed which is good.
