Nice truck. I wouldn't Knock the 2.8. Its a good motor. You can do a lot with it. I myself decide to skip the 350 small block as you have to rebuild the rear end or you'll strip it out. Rather the 4.3 V6, new carb and intakemanifold, get the Cyclone transfer case an posi-track out of a S10 blazer. Add some weight to the bed and you'll be cooking with butter at around the same horse pwer as the 350, but with less hasle.
