The Detroit Autorama has been hosted in the Cobo Center since 1961. Since that time every car genre from Rat rods to Monster trucks have always wanted the 'Upstairs' spots, however, recently the 'Basement scene' has been the main spot for Hot Roders and Muscle Cars (Gassers). Many car enthusiest fom around the U.S. and foreign land flock to the show year round to find their dream car, visit the venders, and admire the craftsmenship in every car built.
