Davis got back to work on the 67 Ranchero last weekend. Time to track down a thumping noise coming from the Ford 9" drivetrain.
We replaced the never touched U-joints and replaced the bitch ass transmision seal.
she finally popped out and we got the driveshaft back in. Still no fix to the noise. But we did see evidence of a dying needle bearing in a U-joint.
Next up will be axle bearing inspection.
