"Old Friend"     1969 Chevrolet Camaro

Introduction / Overview:

I've owned this car since 1972. I bought it when I was a Junior in high school. It's been with me through good times and bad. I started a complete rebuild in September of '07.

I will drive this car regularly when I'm done as I hate "trailer queens". I will ultimately give it to my son who has been helping me with it.

Drivetrain:

GM Performance crate 350 engine with 300 hp. Holley 650, Flowtech ceramic coated headers. TH350 transmission with shift kit. Classic Air and stock P/S finish out the under hood. Will have all steel braided hoses for all fluids.

Chassis:

Stock chassis, powder coated the front clip, rear end, etc... Installed multi-leaf springs and poly-urethane bushings to firm up the ride. 4 wheel power disc brakes by CCP.

Wheels and Tires:

American Torque Thrust Originals, 18 x 8 in front, 18 x 10 in rear. Khumo rubber

Body & Paint:

Alot of new Goodmark sheet metal. Paint is Rally Green, base coat/clear coat. Black Vinyl top.

Interioir: Black and white houndstooth by Legendary interiors. New American Custom Interior foam on the seats. Deluxe door panels, black carpet, and woodgrain dash will finish off the original look interior.
