"the Sixty Five"     1965 AMC Rambler American

Introduction / Overview: 1965 Rambler American Wagon as I just bought it. Hopefully to look much different a year or two from now.
Drivetrain:

232 Straight Six.

3 speed automatic on the column

Chassis: Everything is stock.
Wheels and Tires: stock right now. I'm torn between getting some nice mags on it or powder coating the original wheels. I definitely want some fatter tires either way.
Body & Paint:

Body is in awesome shape. Some minor surface rust in areas. Nothing serious, no cancer at all. Looks like it's been painted once and they tried to keep the original color scheme. Has all the chrome trim. Only missing the Hood emblem. $64 for that little piece!

My fantasy is a nice black w/white top, or a dark smoke gray w/white top.

Interioir: very sweet. all redone within the last few years. Nice color scheme of Black/Red/White. New black carpet all around. Totally redone white headliner and visors.
Lifestyles: Restorer, Old-School, Hot Rodder
