"Turbocraft" 1961 My Ride is Me
Introduction / Overview: Buehler Turbocraft. The original jet boat. This is a river jet, mid engine. It is the oldest ride I have and also the longest I have ever owned any ride. Starting it's second rebuild. So it rides on water, it is still my ride.
Drivetrain: 150 HP Dearborn marine (256 Ford Y-block with twin Carter YH side drafts) direct drive to a Hamilton 2233 3-stage axial flow pump.
Chassis: Wood
Wheels and Tires: 12" bias plys
Body & Paint: To be redone
Interioir: Sun rotted
