"Schnookered" 1975 Ford Mustang II
Introduction / Overview: Tons o' stuff modded/fabbed, mostly to drop in a 557 CID Stroker. Had to tub it, tube it, bend, fold, weld, hammer, cut and force a thousand things to get it "done".
Drivetrain: 557 CID Ford Big Block; B&M C6 w/ TCI Trans Brake; Custom shortened big-tube driveshaft; Narrowed 9-inch with a Detroit Locker spinnin' 4.86 gears. The radiator had to be moved three inches forward, and the firewall laid back four inches so the engine would fit. Also, I had to modify the oil pan to let the engine sit lower. As it is NOW, the back of the hood has to be raised for clearance, which also helps for heat evacuation.
Chassis: Back-halved and caged; Ladder bar w/ coil-overs on the rear; Stock Mustang II up front with Granada rotors and calipers
Wheels and Tires: M/T Sportsman Pros, 31 X 18.5 on 15 X 14 Weld Draglites on the rear; Some cheesy skinnies on the front, also on Draglites; 14 X 6
Body & Paint: Extended the wheelwells; shaved side marker lights; relocated fuel filler; four coats of single-stage 1996 Viper Dandelion Yellow paint over weeks of sanding on the dang thing to get it flat
Interioir: Custom dash with ten gauges; TCI Racing seats, yellow and black with 5-point harness; custom door panels with a Z pattern in yellow and black; no rear seat as the tubs get in the way, but rear side panels are yellow-and-black to match everything else. Fully carpeted in black rayon
