"Studebaker Champion" 1955 Studebaker Champion
Introduction / Overview: Saw this 1955 ride at the 2010 Route 66 Fun Run. Checked it over carefully at that time and drove to NW New Mexico 4 weeks later to buy the car. Drove it the 455 miles back to Phoenix without incident.
Drivetrain: 6 cylinder flathead; three on the tree with overdrive.

Wheels and Tires:
6.00 x 15" wide white walls on original Studebaker rims.
Body & Paint: This car was painted beige in 1992 according to records that came with the car. It looks like the original color was "salmon."
Interioir: Reupholstered in the 90s.
