"Fleetwood"     1970 Cadillac Fleetwood

Introduction / Overview:

My 1970 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75, not quite a barn find, but not too far off it.  This car was, I believe, sold new in Nevada and at least since 1997 it has hardly seen the road, while being kept in Pahrump, Nevada.  The car is a 'formal sedan', of which approximately 1000 were produced in the 1970 model year.

It's now located in San Jose, California, and it will eventually be making the long ocean voyage to Australia.

Drivetrain: 472 cid Cadillac big block, with a GM TH400 trans.
Chassis: Cadillac Fleetwood Series 75 Formal Sedan chassis.
Wheels and Tires:
Body & Paint:
Interioir: The interior is a little sun beaten, and in need of a full re-trim, but for now the worst of the damage is hidden under a set of Mexican blankets picked up at the San Jose Flea Market on our last visit to the United States.
