"Ole Smokey" 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle
Introduction / Overview: I just picked up this Chevelle this fall after the Woodward Dream Cruise. Thats prime time to get a car here in the Metro Detroit Area. Its a SS396 now with a 454 + Turbohydramatic. (Maybe someday a 4L80-E)
Drivetrain:
Carburated 454 Big Block. I think one of the oil rings in the left bank is going (Hence the name Ole Smokey). During coldstarts it pukes out some oil until the engine warms up. This spring I will find out if Engine Restore works or not because Im not rebuilding it!
