"Da Beast" 1935 Dodge Ram 2500
Introduction / Overview:
A 1973 stretched Dodge dually 1.5 T chassis with a collection of odds N ends on top! Daily driver and work truck.
1935 Dodge cab, Unibilt coffin sleeper, and flatbed deck
Used for fun, cruisin, parades, and regularly hauling furniture and other stuff for work at a university.
Drivetrain:
We recently pulled the 350 and built a 406 Chevy with a SCAT reciprocating assembly, AFR Aluminum Heads, Howard cam, ceramic coat headers, and lots of goodies to build torque.
Attacted to completely beefed up 700R4 transmission
Stacks are built by Grand Rock and sound great going down the road with Pyre mufflers underneath.
Chassis: Stretched 1973 Dodge Dually with P/S, P/B, AC
Wheels and Tires:
Body & Paint:
Rustoleum applied with a roller from Home Depot!!!
Repaint once a year in about 2 hours.
Definitely looks good from 10 feet.
Interioir: Customized with overhead radio, CB and switches. Trolley valve for real Leslie 3 chime train horn mounted between frame rails. AC and custom gauges.
