"The Ghia"     1966 Volkswagon Karmann Ghia

Introduction / Overview: This is one of those cars i will always wish i never sold. I always wanted one so i sold my bug to get this one. It started out a remarkably original, very straight, very complete car... The perfect canvas for any customization haha. The main pic is how it looked the day i sold it. This car was an incredible, reliable daily driver.
Drivetrain: Original 1300cc and 4 speed. This thing got over 30mpg around town and could still keep up with traffic no sweat! Regularly cruised at 70 on the highway and still had passing power. 1300s are awesome.
Chassis:

Mostly rust. 2.5 inch dropped spindles and cut dropped beam. Lowered 6 outer splines in back with heavily notched spring plates.

Wheels and Tires:

15x5.5 inch mags which may have been from a Porsche 914. 165r15 radials in back with 125/70r15 radial temps up front.

Body & Paint: Possibly original red paint scotch brited with cheap indoor/outdoor rattle can scallops and skull.
Interioir: Custom mexican blanket apholstery.
