"Singlefinger Special"     1932 Ford Roadster

Introduction / Overview:

This chassis has been racing at drag strips around Colorado since the early 50's.  It was known as "The Bell Plumbing Roadster" in the those days.

It lost its original roadster body in the 70's & a 29 A body was substituted along the way.

As a tribute to the original car, it sports the numbers that it had for a national drag meet at Lowry AFB, in 1955.  The "T" stands for it's club affiliation with the Denver Timing Association.  The "RB" was the class it ran in back then (Roadster B Class).

Drivetrain:

1939 Flattie with Fenton hop-up goodies, Red's headers, Smithies, a 39 trans, & a 32 rear end W/ 42 brakes.

Chassis:

One of Henry's genuine 1932 units, bobbed in back.

More-Drop front axle w/ split bones & 40 Ford brakes

Wheels and Tires: 1940 Ford 16" rims w/ old 6.00 WWW Lesters in front & 7.50 truck tires out back.
Body & Paint: Huh??  Paint?  You kiddin?
Interioir:

Old Hollywood dash with vintage gauges look at a set of seat covers taken out of a 50 year old "barn find" deuce coupe. Surplus B-24 switchgear.

I even went "uptown" & added a floormat this summer!
