"PRSRIZD"     1986 Buick Gran Sport

Introduction / Overview: This is the Orginal WayFast StreetRod. I bought the car after I graduated highschool and I've had it ever since. It's a 1986 Buick Grand National, the interior is stock save for some audio and added gauges, the suspension is completely redone with a healthy dose of geometry modifications and heavy duty equipment. The car rides on BFG rubber and drag radials for the street, anything less simply will not hold grip with 23psi pushed through the 3.8L V6.
Drivetrain:

3.8L/231cid Buick V6

Long Block is 100% stock

TE44 t3/t4 Turbocharger Stretch Intercooler

Alcohol Injection + 42.5lb/hr injectors

Converted ECM to Speed/Density (removed MAF)

 Rick Cook 200-4r + 2800rpm stall converter

All the typical mods to support 550HP

Chassis:

Front:

Big GM Spindles, brakes, and sway bar

Eibach Springs + QA1 shocks

 

Rear:

BMR arms + Adjustable tops

GM aluminum drums + s10 manual cylinders

BIIIIIIG sway bar, Eibach Springs, QA1 shocks

Wheels and Tires:

American Racer TT2 17x7 front + BFG KDW G-Force 245-45-17

American Racer TT2 17x9.5 rear + BFG Drag Radials 275-40-17 (street)

American Racer TT2 15x8 rear + BFG Drag Radials 275-50-15 or 26x9 Hoosier Slicks (fun)

 

Body & Paint:

All "excess" trim removed, repainted (base+clear), stone guard removed, shaved bumpers

 

Interioir: Stock + Kenwood CD, Kicker 8" midbass in custom kick panels, Boston Acoustics Pro 4" components in dash and doors, Boston Acoustics Rally 4" components in rear deck, Boston Acoustics 12.5LF Pro Subwoofer, and 4 Kicker Amps. Decked out trunk kit with storage for 4 gallons of Methanol to fuel the auxilary fueling system.
