"Anvil Mustang" 1969 Ford Mustang
Introduction / Overview: A highly modified, but tasteful custom muscle car built by Steve Strope of Pure Vision. Debuted at the 2010 SEMA show and was awarded Ford's best of show design excellence award. It will be making the rounds at shows across the country in 2011.
Drivetrain:
John Kaase 521 Boss 9 aluminum block with 805 h.p., Tremec 5 speed with kevlar clutch, aluminum drive shaft and Ford 9" full floater.
Chassis: JME front suspension with inboard coil overs, Maier Racing cantilevered coil over torque arm rear suspension.
Wheels and Tires: Custom wheels by Evod Industries with center lock lug covers. Michelin PS II tires with custom pin stripes.
Body & Paint:
Performed by Mick's paint located at So. Cal. Speed Shop. Too many body mods to list.
Interioir: Custom uphostery by Eric Thorsen.
