"The Lolvo" 1982 Volvo 200 Series
Introduction / Overview:
The Lolvo. A joke, turned into something more complicated than any of us can understand. I'm the guy that somehow found inspiration in a $500 Volvo purchased initially to drive in winter.
For whatever reason I sold my bagged truck (s10) I was trying to preserve and thought the Volvo would look better on the ground with white walls and some personal touches.
Drivetrain:
For now, stock carb'd dirty hippie 4 cyl.
I'm tossing around the idea of a carb'd 302 with exhaust cutouts to pull off the whole white wall look with some sound.
Chassis:
Wheels and Tires: Volvo steelies w/white walls.
Body & Paint: Original.
Interioir: Hand crafted wood floor, Peterbilt gauge hoods, exposed wheel wells, stealth mounted switches
