"Sleeper" 1965 Ford Fairlane
Introduction / Overview: My son and I pulled this one out of the weeds. It originally had a six w/ a 3 speed. We want this to be a fun car. Maybe Wednesday night drags, Friday night Burger. We just wanted something other than a Mustang, These 65's are unique and a one off year.
Drivetrain: 1989 Mustang GT 302 roller w/ 5 speed manuel. Striped the motor of all modern amenities and put a Edelbrock Torker w/ Holley 4 barrel. Except for the lack of a fuel pump you will think it's a K code 289. Out back there is a 3.25 gear.
Chassis: All stock
Wheels and Tires: Stock 14" wheels with 427 poverty caps. The tires are new. 235's in back, 205's in front
Body & Paint: My son wants to leave it like this. I have clay bared the paint and it doesn't look too bad. We'll see.
Interioir: Looking for original Buckets and top section of the back seat
