"64 Falcon Sprint"     1964 Ford Falcon

Introduction / Overview: Here's the car I got for my 16th birthday, 37 years ago. As you can see. I still own it. It started out with a little 260 v8 with a 2 barrel putting out 164 hp, according to Ford. It was a hand me down from my sister and the motor was blown up when I got it. The very first thing we did to it was swap out the motor from another car we already had. (It helps when your father is the Service Manager of the local Ford garage).
Drivetrain: The drive train currently consists of a 351 Windsor motor that came out of a 1973 LTD. The transmission is a 4 speed auto AOD from an F150 pickup. The rear end is a newly built 8.8 inch posi from a Mustang with 3.31 gears. It has moly headers and dual exhaust.
Chassis: The chassis has had frame connectors installed, a power rack and pinion front end with coil over springs and Mustang type hybrid 3 link rear suspension, again with coil overs. The rear has been mini-tubbed to allow tire widths up to 12 inches.
Wheels and Tires: Hancook tires all around, 8.5" x 19" in front and 10.5" by 19" in the rear. AMAZING Boss chrome 5 spoke wheels with a nice offset for that nice, deep look.
Body & Paint: Currently red with black side stripes but DEFINITELY needs new paint.
Interioir: Currently red on black but will probably need a refresh.
