"Lou" 1929 Ford Roadster
Introduction / Overview: You've heard it before....right place right time...had no clue what I was doing but knew it wasn't wrong. Original steel Ford roadster body sitting on an original frame....laying in the hay barn for who know's how long...parts scattered in the hay...
Drivetrain: what drivetrain....torn between a Ford flathead and a Ford fuel injected 5.0...definitely a manual transmission of some sorts and I am sure a 9" ford rear with who knows what gears....
Chassis: she takes turns riding on the original 32 frame that came with her ....needs lots of work......and a custom boxed frame built by one of my sons
Wheels and Tires: whatever is not flat when she is in the way and needs to be moved for now
Body & Paint: original steel 29 Ford roadster channeled....last build believed to be in the late 50's early 60's...sure wish I had that picture of her original owner... sitting on her back with friends gathered around...a big ole STP sticker on her windshield....but the guy I bought it from never sent it to me as he promised he would
Interioir: i guess it would classify....a bench and back frame with springs and some greenie plastic stuff covering it....the wool blanket is definately an upgrade.
