Introduction / Overview: This coupe is the car I wanted to build as a teenager in the 60s but couldn't aford to back then so 40 some years later I was able to build my dream car, it is no show car, never intended it to be, but it had to be fun,fast,safe,dependable& driveable anywere, I now have the car I wanted and it will be with me till I am gone. Some things on this car may not be true traditional but I don't care because I would rather it be safe than just look good. It alows me & my wife to get out on the road and enjoy life.
Drivetrain: Engine is a 383 sbc w scat crank & rods, probe forged pistons,comp solid lifter cam,roller rockers & world products sportsman 2 heads, edelbrock dual quad intake & carbs, and hooker 1 3/4 tuned headers & accel small cap dist.
Transmission is b&m turbo 350 w boss hog converter & jennie shifter.
Rear end is a ford 8in housing, randy's ring&pinnion case with a auburn posi & yucon ring & pinnion
Chassis: Chassis is a TCI model A with magnum 4in droped axle, 4 bar f&r and coilover rear supn.panhard bar, custom drive shaft loop, 11in disc brakes f&r and 68 mustang sreering box, also a walker radiater.
Wheels and Tires: Wheel are american racing torqe thrust D 15x41/2 front & 15x10 raer. Tires are 165/15 front & 285/70/15 rear
Body & Paint: Body is a steel 31 model A ford high boy coupe with 4in chopped top, filled roof, recessed firewall, custom steel floor & crossmembers, louvered hagen hood, 32 style grill shell & original style 32 insert, original headlights converted to halagon bulbs, turn signal lights are 32 cowl lights mounted on frame tail lights are 49-50 ford, gas tank is 15 gal. mounted between cab & trunk and filled via ecco flip filler.
Piant is a ppg chrysler black with flatner added to give it a old look, frame & suspenision are painted gloss black
Interioir: Inrerior has 32 style dash with black tpi guages in a lobec insert , speedway steering column, grant 3 spoke steering wheel, bucket seats ant homemade red & black nagahyde upholsterey
