"RTRMNTFND"     1996 Ford F150

Introduction / Overview: It may be a late model but it is in the process of undergoing through metal surgery to be a 1940's hot rod pickup. Many body modifications have been performed to smooth and shape the metal landscape that is present. When it is said and done it will be sporting a 50's Bel Air dash, 1949 Ford tail lights, motorcycle mirrors, suicide doors, a chopped top, and a full air ride suspension that will allow the body to rest fully on the ground with some 22" shoes on all four corners.  I am building this ride for myself and not for others,  it has come from my own blood, sweat, and tears and my imagination.  I have a passion for working on this stuff.  My favorite pass time is warming up some metal with the welder and laying down a stack of dimes that would make my grandfather proud.
Drivetrain: For now: stock 4.9 liter 300 cubic inch straight 6.
Chassis: Stock minus a 4" lowered suspension in the rear
Wheels and Tires: Stock wheels wrapped in Cooper Cobra raised white letter tires
Body & Paint:

I have lost count of all the body mods that I have done to the truck.  The bed has been completely modified inside and out. Shaved: emblems, bed, front bumper, antenna, stake pockets, back of the cab, 3rd brake light front clip, drip rails, two gas filler doors, all seams, radiused door and cab, and some motorcycle mirrors.  Frenched in handmade taillight buckets for 49' ford lights which are turned upside down from the way that it came from the factory

It's been primered for at least 3 years now,  only 15 more to go.

Interioir: Heavily modified, with stereo systems of all types, fiberglassed installations.  Multimedia systems.  All of it to come out in the final build
