"ole yeller"     1974 Ford Gran Torino

this car has been in the family since 76....was my dads first car at 15....pretty much my first car too....my dad sold the car out from under me after i moved out of state for a few months. i search 8 yrs for this car and finally i decided to put up a craigslist ad pretty much begging people for info on my car. a week later i get an email saying "i got your car...call me". called ....and sure enough went to see it and it was my baby...was sittin in a field rotten away because the guy couldnt get it started. i gave him his $700 back that he paid for it and took her home a few weeks later. i got her home cleaned her up,new plugs,wires,battery and carb and a few gallons of gasshe was running within a week......i still dont understand why he couldnt get it running.......
