Ever notice how much these look like IH Loadstar? And as for other rigs..I can't ever remember seeing one of those Dodge semi's...oh wait..my school bus!

that Odyssey is going to be sick, I have a friend who put a Ninja motor in a Honda 200X 3 Wheeler and stretched the swing arm and that was one bad ass trike...to bad it got stolen, it's probably in Mexico now if not totally destroyed by some idiot who couldn't handle it.

Yeah man, slow goin' here on the north coast. I'm try-n to find out as much as I can about what I have. I also have a couple other irons in the fire so to speak. I'm try-n to finish up a two wheeled project, an 84 Yamaha RZ that is going to be an RZV500 Kenny Roberts Marlboro GP tribute/clone, that needs to be done for spring. And have a four wheeled off road project going also. I'm building an 83 Honda Odyssey that will be powered by an 04 Suzuki GSX-R600 engine, will have A-arm front susp., and trailing arm I.R.S. (similar to an airhead VW). I am a stay at home Dad during the day, I work for a buddy's bike shop on a project construction basis (we currently have two), work for another buddy's bike shop on a project consultation basis, and I wrench on customer bikes out of my garage at night. Sooooooooo,,, in my spare time I work on the truck. I would like to use it as a driver this summer, maybe hit up the local cruise nights, but I know it will not be a finished show piece.

Well been doin a little research, and I think Louies cab is an LN600-LN900. I'm fairly certain it was never a "thousand" series (Diesel) but was a "hundred" series (Gas) truck. There is no doghouse inside the cab. There is no air inlet bulge/opening on the right side of the hood. The insturment cluster/besel is minimal, and looks fairly stock. There really seems to be no air system in the cab. It has air horns and air seats but neither are plumbed into anything. These things combind make me fairly sure the cab was on a gasoline engine/hydrolic brake equipped truck.

I was even thinking about removing the sides that the pervious owner put on it and making a side kit with bows and a tarp. Not real tall like some ya see on the road, but cab roof height. I think it would look coool and it would be nice for transporting my motorcycles, going a.t.v. riding, etc.

I'm going to give it a paint job, straighten the bumper, rechrome it (and a few other things), get bigger stacks probably 6" goose necked..mounted out at the edge of the cab as they shoild be. put on a set of Alcoa classic rims for sure. I'll add more running lights, lighted bumper guides, lolly pop lights off the sides of the bumper, etc. Basicly make it look like a little "LARGE CAR" as the truckers say. (it will look like the custom light/chrome shop in the Wallcot Iowa 80 truck stop threw up all over it)

Ya know... that thaught did cross my mind.
I'll use an old york style A/C compressor and make an on board air system for sure so I can use the seats and horns.
I had actually thaught of making a non-driving lift axle (a pusher air tag axle in big truck speak) in the rear, so it would have tandem dual wheels (10 wheels total).
With or without a third axle I am thinking about 'baggin' the truck. Not just helpers to change ride height, but no metal springs involved full air ride. Ride quality would improve dramaticly, and yes the truck would easily lay bumper, and with a notched oil pan/"C" notched rear frame it would lay running board.
I've got a hundred other ideas too, but on board air will happen for sure. After the truck has air, who knows... replacing the front coils with bags is a few hour job, and "C" notchin' and bagging the rear I could do in a weekend.
